MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball Mason jars have been made in Muncie since 1888. Next summer, that tradition will come to an end.

Newell Brands, the company that owns the ball Brand, says it will close the Muncie plant.

About 100 people work at the factory.

Production will be moved to its factories in Fishers and Ohio.
