PARIS, Ill – Restrictions on Sunday alcohol sales were lifted here in Indiana earlier this year.
Now the city council in Paris, Illinois has unanimously approved the sale of liquor on Sundays from noon to midnight.
The action comes as retailers in the area say that they are losing business across the state line.
The new law takes effect July 1st.
