
SULLIVAN, Ind. – A $1.4 million improvement project that started last November should be wrapped up by this fall.
Several government officials were in the area last Friday to see the progress made possible by the tax credits.
The project will bring 40 units of affordable housing for seniors.
Developer Flaherty & Collins were awarded historic tax credits in February of 2016 from the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority.
The project began last November and should be wrapped by the end of this year.
Joining Sullivan Mayor Clint Lamb were State Representative Bruce Borders (R-45), State Senator Jon Ford (R-38), State Senator Eric Bassler (R-39), State Representative Alan Morrison (R-42), State Representative Dale Devon (R-5), and State Representative Bob Heaton (R-46).
Officials from Accelerate Indiana Municipalities were also on hand.
