Fennell To Report To Prison Today

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute man convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from Vigo County Schools is set to report to prison today.

Back in April a federal judge sentenced 49 year old Franklin Fennell to two years in prison and he is to turn himself in to federal prison officials in Pekin, Illinois.

He was convicted by a jury of theft, wire fraud and lying to investigators related to a kickback scheme.

Meanwhile, Fennell’s attorney has filed a motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals for an additional 90 days to file an appeal as the motion seeking appointment of pauper counsel is still pending.
