VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – A Terre Haute man was sentenced Wednesday as part of a plea deal for the murder of Thomas “Pete” Fuller III.

Buddy Ellinger Junior was arrested after police found Fuller shot to death at the Greenwood Manor Apartments in June of 2016.

Ellinger pleaded guilty to reckless homicide and was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

The plea deal capped his sentenced at no more than 18 years.
