PARKE COUNTY, Ind. – One person was taken to an area hospital after a single vehicle crash around 9 a.m. Saturday morning.

It happened on SR 47 in Parke County just west of the Turkey Run Golf Course.

Officials say one passenger in the back seat of the truck was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Slushy roads at the time of the accident may have played a role in the crash.

The truck’s driver and front seat passenger refused transport.
