NOBLESVILLE, Ind.–A Husky was rescued from a kill shelter in New Mexico by a woman from Noblesville.

Emily Kado says the dog’s name is Juneau. She found out about him through a Facebook group.

Kado says Juneau is dealing with a variety of health issues, which is why Kado started a GoFundMe page to raise money. Among other things, the money will be used to help with vet costs.

The goal on the GoFundMe page is $3,000. If they surpass that goal, the extra money they receive will go to IndyHumane.

A kill shelter is an animal shelter that kills animals once the shelter is full or after strays have been there a certain time.
