Terre Haute, In. – A Terre Haute family is looking for a new place to stay after an early Tuesday morning house fire. The Terre Haute Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of 8th Avenue just before 6:30 Tuesday morning. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke pouring from the residence but managed to knock down the flames in under twenty minutes. Officials confirm that while the structure is not a total loss, the home is currently unlivable. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
