Sullivan County, In. – A powerful new eye in the sky is now patrolling Sullivan County skies. The Sheriff’s Office just added a state-of-the-art Autel EVO Max 4T drone. Equipped with advanced thermal imaging and obstacle avoidance, the aircraft allows deputies to track targets and navigate rough terrain in pitch darkness. Sheriff Jason Bobbitt calls the technology a massive force multiplier for his ground teams. Best of all for local residents, the drone was fully paid for through grants and business donations, costing taxpayers absolutely nothing.
