Terre Haute, In. – A six-point-five million dollar grant is paving the way for a major transformation at the Vigo County YMCA. The funding represents the single-largest grant in the history of the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, made possible through a regional partnership with the Lilly Endowment. The grant will fund a fifteen to twenty thousand square foot expansion including a new second story overlooking the Wabash River. Construction on the facility is officially underway, with a targeted completion date set for next summer.
