Terre Haute, In. – A Terre Haute man will serve 794 days of probation following a 2025 stabbing sparked by an argument over cryptocurrency. Thirty-nine-year-old Brandon Mcallister pleaded guilty to battery after stabbing another man eight times during a dispute about how Bitcoin works. A judge suspended his prison sentence, ordering Mcallister to undergo anger management as part of his release.
