Indianapolis, In. – Aviation Indiana has names Indiana District 38 State Senator Greg Goode Senator of the Year. The award recognizes Goode for his work on House Enrolled Act 1242 during the 2024 legislative session. HEA 1242 helps airports with the cost of replacing underground storage tanks with above ground tanks. The act not only helps airports but helps keep the states soil and water clean. Rick Burger, president of the Terre Haute Regional Airport’s Board of Directors, congratulated Goode on receiving the recognition. Burger said, “Since entering office, Senator Goode has demonstrated his steadfast commitment to not only being a fierce advocate for the Wabash Valley, but a true partner and friend to Terre Haute Regional Airport and other aviation entities across the state.”
