Parke County, In. – Saturday Parke County Deputies attempted a traffic stop on County Road 900 South and Country Road 625 West in Parke County when the suspect took off at a high rate of seed finally pulling over after about a mile.  The driver was identified as 26-year-old Jimmy J. Griffen of Rosedale.  Griffen refused the officers commands, and the deputy deployed his taser to take Griffen into custody.  Griffen was transported to the Parke County Jail and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and resisting law enforcement.
