PUTNAM COUNTY-A freak accident left two people dead when a tree fell on the car in which they were riding Friday night.
Deputies responded to a crash on CR 500N near CR25 W.
A witness said the vehicle was eastbound on CR500N when a large tree fell on top of the car.
Brooke Miles, 46, and Richard Miles Sr., 64, died at the scene.
Another man were transported to an Indianapolis hospital and two children were taken to Riley Hospital with less serious injuries.
