Terre Haute — One person died and another was seriously injured in a Thursday afternoon crash on U.S. 41 near Springhill Drive in Terre Haute, said Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse.

Northbound U.S. 41 was closed from Springhill Drive to Sam’s Club following the accident.

On Friday, the second person injured in the accident died at an indianapolis hospiral, according to Vigo County Sheriff’s Department information.
