Police Pull Body Of Chase Suspect from Wabash River

Clinton, In. – Police early Friday pulled a mans body from the Wabash River they say was involved in a Thursday afternoon police chase.That chase started as an impaired driver call in Vermillion County around 4pm Thursday. The unidentified driver ended up driving driving down the boat ramp north of S.R. 163 and Main St. into the Wabash River.

It took nearly 8 and a half hours for police to pull the suspect’s body from the river. Police have not identified the person, pending an autopsy.
