TERRE HAUTE, Ind – In today’s (4/2/20) edition of the Tribune-Star, Publisher Robyn McCloskey announced that starting May 3rd the paper would only be published five days per week.

Print publication days would be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Online service would still be available seven days per week.

McCloskey said that the current coronavirus has caused a sudden loss of advertising business that has added to what already had been an eroding economic condition and has caused them to restructure their resources.

McCloskey went on to say that readership changes, newsprint prices, print production expenses and delivery costs have resulted in community papers around the country publishing fewer days of the week to remain economically healthy.
