Nearly 100 Tell Legislators To Bring Casino To Terre Haute

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.  – A group from Terre Haute made the trip to the state capitol yesterday to show support for a casino in the Wabash Valley.

Testimony was heard by the House Public Policy Committee.

Around 100 people including city, county government leaders, members of the business community and area residents made the trip to Indianapolis on Wednesday to support a bill that would bring a casino to Terre Haute.

No vote was taken, and no amendments were offered at Wednesday’s hearing.

The House Public Policy Committee could vote on Senate Bill 552 as early as next week.
