Investigation Continues Into Death Of Clay County Infant

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. – The investigation into the weekend death of a Clay County infant continues.

Police say around 10:30 Saturday morning, the 9-month-old baby was found unresponsive in his crib.

Family members reportedly performed CPR until emergency crews arrived.

The child was transported to Saint Vincent Clay Hospital and pronounced dead.

An autopsy was completed Monday but results will not be released until toxicology test results are completed.
