INDOT To Begin Design On Walkway Over Wabash River

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Progress is being made on a pedestrian walkway between Terre Haute and West Terre Haute.

On Tuesday morning, the Vigo County Commissioners signed an agreement with the Indiana Department of Transportation that to begin the design of the walkway to be built along U.S. 150 over the Wabash River.

It will cost the county around $1.7 million for the entire project.

The walkway will take about a year to build.
