INDIANA – First Farmers Financial Corp. (OTCQX: FFMR) announced plans on Wednesday to open two new branches of First Farmers Bank & Trust by the fourth quarter of this year.

The bank announced plans to take over the recently closed Vigo County Federal Credit Union branch on St. Rd 46 in front of the east Wal-Mart.

This will be the second branch for First Farmers Bank & Trust in Terre Haute.

It is expected to be open October 1st, this year.

 

The bank will also convert a loan production office in Lafayette, IN to a full-service branch location.
