TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The fall 2018 general election is fast approaching.
On Tuesday, the League of Women Voters held a candidate forum at the Vigo County Public Library.
The forum gave candidates running for state representative and senate in the area.
The league will hold another forum for school board candidates next week on Tuesday October 9th.
The deadline to register to vote is also next Tuesday the 9th.
The Secretary of State’s Office says Indiana residents can register to vote online by texting “Indiana” to 2VOTE (28683) or at IndianaVoters.com. They also can submit an application to register in person at their local county clerk’s office.
Early voting starts on Wednesday the 10th.
Election Day is November 6th.
