Cloverdale Man Killed In Northern Indiana Crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind – Monday morning, around 9:30 a.m., Indiana State Police were called to fatal crash between a pickup and a semi that occurred in the northbound driving lane of US 31in Marshall County which is in northern Indiana.

Police say that semi-truck had just turned onto US 31 and was trying to get up to speed when it was rear-ended by a pickup driven by 31-year-old Mitchell Warner, of Cloverdale.

Police say that the pickup became fused to the rear of the trailer and both vehicles moved to the right shoulder following the collision.

Warner was pronounced dead at the scene and according to police was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

No other injuries were reported.

Alcohol is not suspected in this crash.
